Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Pinot Noir and
Syrah dominate here but you'll find exceptional reds, perhaps even more
so, from the Cabernet Franc, Gamay, Grenach, Nebbiolo, Sangiovese,
Tempranillo, and Zinfandel grapes among others |
Look for the classic white grapes such as
Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling, Semillon, Pinot Gris and Chenin
Blanc used in these wines as well as other important white grape
varietals such as Gewurztraminer, Viognier, and Muscat among others. |
